Registrations are now open for the Christchurch United three day football development camp in Queenstown, with professional coaches from Christchurch United, from Monday 13th to Wednesday 15th January 2025.
Please see details below and visit the QAFC website to register.
The camp will focus on developing players in the possession-oriented model of play, inspired by Christchurch United’s methodology partner, TOVO Academy, Barcelona.
The camp will cost $150 and be capped at the first 60 players who register.
The camp will be led by Christchurch United’s Head of Academy Methodology Paul Holocher and 10-year professional player Travis Graham, both of whom I have seen in action coaching several times before, so I’m very excited that our kids will get to experience working with them.
Paul Holocher – Head of Academy, Methodology, Christchurch United FC
Former USA national team midfielder, who played professionally in both the United States and Europe. Paul was the Academy Director and Director of Formation for two MLS Clubs (San Jose Earthquakes and Houston Dynamo) as well as a 15-year NCAA College head coach.
Paul’s formal coaching education includes the U.S. Soccer’s Academy Director and A Coaching licenses, along with the FFF Elite Coaches Formation License earned in 2016 through the Major League Soccer.
Travis Graham – First Team Player, Christchurch United FC
Travis is a footballer from South Africa and now a first team senior player for Christchurch United FC.
He has represented Ajax Cape Town, Cape Town City, Cape Umoya and Maritzburg United in his professional career and is an alumnus of the Johan Cruyff Institute, having successfully completed a postgraduate diploma in Football Business.
The camps will be split into three-hour sessions each day; 9am – 12pm for the younger players (approximately 8s – 11s) and 1pm – 4pm for the older players (12s and above).
