JAMIE WHITMARSH
Queenstown AFC is very sad to announce that next season we will be losing Jamie Whitmarsh one of our longest serving members.
Jamie has been with the Club for 14 years.
During that time he has worked with the Junior Section for 14 years, has acted as Mens First Team Coach for 14 years and has been a Committee Member for 14 years.
Whist we are very sad to loose Jamie, we congratulate him that he is going to take up an exciting new opportunity.
Jamie is joining Green Island AFC in Dunedin as “Director of Football/Head Coach”.
And he will also be Coach of their Mens First Team who play in the newly formed Southern League.
He will be involved in all things football at Green Island, however he will still live in Queenstown. He’ll be spending Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday in Dunedin and the rest of the time here.
In this way he will be able to continue to operate his business, The Whitmarsh Academy.
We are currently working on ways for Queenstown AFC to have even closer links with TWA in the future than we have had in the past.
Jamie – you are a Gentleman and a Scholar and Queenstown AFC wishes you ALL THE BEST for the Future and THANKS YOU ENORMOUSLY for everything you have done for the Club in the past.
Thanks,
Phil Ingham.
President on behalf or everybody at Queenstown AFC
